At University Bridge we offer you a 2+2 transfer program for international students in partnership with five of the nation’s premier two-year colleges: PVCC in Charlottesville, Virginia; College of San Mateo in San Mateo, California; College of Marin in Kentfield, California; Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California; and Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California. You can study up to 36 credits per year at our host campuses and receive complete social and academic support from your personal UBridge advisor.
After two years, or gaining a minimum of 60 credits, you will transfer with third-year status to one of more than 200 four-year universities. Transfer eligibility is based on the GPA you earn while enrolled in the University Bridge program. These Transfer Admissions Guarantees are state-level agreements between our host campuses and participating universities, many of which are elite U.S. institutions. Graduates of our program have gone on to study at many selective universities across the country.
Living and studying in a new culture can be challenging. To successfully accomplish your goals, you will need the right support – both inside and outside the classroom. Your time in the U.S. will offer many exciting opportunities and amazing experiences. With guidance from University Bridge’s expert advisors, you can make the most of your time here – and confidently progress to your top-choice university.
CollegeCare® provides everything you will need to excel. Our unique support system was designed specifically with the needs of international students in mind and far exceeds what is offered at any university in the U.S.
This is the key to our – and your! – success.
The US GPA system is based on grades of A, B, C, D and F, with A and A+ being the highest marks. Straight A’s would be a 4.0/4.0, straight B’s would be a 3.0/4.0 and so on. UBridge students earn significantly higher grades than their peers.
