Within the UBridge portfolio of college partners, the high school completion program is exclusive to UBridge@Shoreline. The program provides UBridge students with the opportunity to start their college education as early as age 16 without finishing high school. Students in this program complete a U.S. high school diploma and receive college credits for transfer at the same time. You can save 1-3 years obtaining your Bachelor’s degree!
If you don’t meet the minimum English language requirement for direct college admissions, UBridge@Shoreline offers an EAP program that allows you to improve your English while earning college credits. Students in EAP typically take a mix of high-level English language and writing classes and a few college-level classes. Upon completion of the EAP classes, students seamlessly transition into regular college courses.

Living with your fellow classmates is one of the best parts of studying in the U.S. First-year University Bridge students live in the same community, and many students choose to stay for their second year. This creates a great atmosphere. Our advisors stay close by, so we are always there if you need anything.
There are many social events included with your housing: from meals out to trips to attend an MLB baseball game, from go-karting to cooking lessons, you can always keep busy. Your personal advisor is there to support you with anything you need, whether it is a trip to the doctor’s office, or help buying a car – we’ll always be there to help. Of course, academics always come first but UBridge is here to guide you on all aspects of your international education journey.

Visit the iconic Space Needle to get a panoramic view of the city and surrounding areas, or if you’re adventurous, embark on a trip to the Olympic National Park or Mount Rainier National Park for hiking and camping. Seattle is a place filled with excitement and is a top study destination in the US!
Each University Bridge student is assigned a private advisor who is an expert on the community college system as well as the university transfer process. With UBridge’s CollegeCare®, students enjoy a student-to-advisor ratio of less than 25:1 and, therefore, have immediate access to advisors. Additionally, many of our advisors were international community college students themselves who were admitted to schools such as UCLA and Berkeley through the transfer process.
“My UBridge advisor Iris is amazing. She not only helped me adjust to the new experience of college life in the US and helped me with how I organize my courses, but she also provided me with lots of support in preparing my art portfolios when applying to USC's film school. Thanks to my advisor, I was able to gain admission to this prestigious film school, which is considered one of the best in the world."
Jorge Jaen, USC Class of 2024
“My UBridge advisor has a wealth of experience, accumulated from assisting numerous students who have come before me. She has a comprehensive database and many successful student cases. Therefore, my advisor is always able to provide valuable guidance and suggestions. When I’m about to make a decision, I often consult my advisor to gain more perspectives and information.”
Kevin Ren, UBridge Class of 2025, Current GPA 4.0
“My UBridge advisor is a very generous person and she is willing to help at any time. She transferred from a community college to UCLA herself, so she knows all the difficulties we would face as transfer students. My advisor is the only best person you can find when you have problems at college.”
Benson Chang, UC Berkeley Class of 2025
