At the heart of University Bridge is access to guaranteed admissions into elite US universities. Students at our UBridge@COM campus enjoy guaranteed or priority progression to the universities below provided they meet the required GPA after two years/60 credits of study.
The UC Berkeley pathway is a targeted program specifically created for UBridge students aiming to attend UC Berkeley. As a UBridge student in this program, you will attend courses at our host campus, College of Marin (COM). Over the last five years, COM has enjoyed the highest transfer acceptance rate into Berkeley at approximately 33%. College of Marin’s campus is located across the Richmond Bridge from Berkeley and hosts regular visits from Berkeley undergraduate admissions staff.
For the fall 2024 incoming class, just over 45% of COM students who applied were accepted into UC Berkeley as transfer students. This stands in sharp contrast to Berkeley’s international freshman admissions rate, which they note is 9.14%. The UC Berkeley pathway at UBridge@COM prepares you for successful transfer with the personalized academic guidance you need to succeed. Students who attend College of Marin are given priority admissions in Berkeley versus those from other states applying as transfer students. Come see why 83% of UBridge students were accepted to a Top 40 US university this year!
Fees include up to 36 credits, transportation and all the benefits of CollegeCare®. Fall students may elect to use their 36 credits over three consecutive semesters.
Upon acceptance into UBridge and payment of a deposit, your I-20 will be generated and sent out.

All in one day…
Each University Bridge student is assigned a private advisor who is an expert on the community college system as well as the university transfer process. With UBridge’s CollegeCare®, students enjoy a student-to-advisor ratio of less than 25:1 and, therefore, have immediate access to advisors. Additionally, many of our advisors were international community college students themselves who were admitted to schools such as UCLA and Berkeley through the transfer process.
“My UBridge advisor helped me devise a personalized two-year transfer plan which made me feel secure, as I knew what I was expecting for the next semesters. She even helped me maintain my offer from UCLA when I was at the risk of losing it. I couldn’t have gotten into UCLA without the help of UBridge."
Wu Zeming, UCLA Class of 2022
“UBridge managed to help me get into UC San Diego, even though I was not eligible to apply for TAG. I highly appreciate it."
